At URBALENTI™, we value responsible business practices, thoughtful sourcing, and honest communication with our customers. This Ethics & Product Claims Policy explains the standards we aim to apply across our products, supplier relationships, and brand communications.
1. Our Approach
URBALENTI™ is committed to operating with integrity and to presenting product information in a clear, responsible, and good-faith manner. We seek to align our business practices with standards of respect for people, animals, and lawful production practices.
2. Cruelty-Free Approach
URBALENTI™ supports the principle of reducing and avoiding animal testing where reasonably possible and appropriate to the product category.
Where URBALENTI™ describes a product as “cruelty-free,” “not tested on animals,” or uses similar language, that statement is intended to reflect our good-faith understanding of the relevant product based on information reasonably available from suppliers, manufacturers, and product records at the time the statement is made.
Unless expressly stated for a specific product or collection, URBALENTI™ does not represent that all products offered by the brand are cruelty-free.
URBALENTI™ does not claim third-party cruelty-free certification unless explicitly stated.
3. Vegan and Animal-Derived Material Claims
URBALENTI™ may identify selected products as “vegan” or “contains no animal-derived materials or ingredients” only where that description is intended for the specific product identified.
Unless expressly stated, URBALENTI™ does not represent that all products are vegan or free from animal-derived materials.
Any such statement is based on information reasonably available at the time of publication and may be updated if product composition, sourcing, or supplier information changes.
4. No Abuse, Forced Labor, or Exploitation
URBALENTI™ opposes forced labor, human trafficking, slavery, child labor exploitation, and abusive working conditions.
We seek to work with suppliers and partners that are expected to comply with applicable labor, workplace, and sourcing laws, and to operate in a lawful and responsible manner.
URBALENTI™ may request information from suppliers regarding sourcing practices, manufacturing standards, or compliance expectations where appropriate to our business operations.
If we become aware of credible concerns regarding unlawful or abusive practices in connection with a supplier or manufacturing partner, we reserve the right to review the relationship and take appropriate action.
5. Honest Product Claims
URBALENTI™ aims to ensure that product descriptions, marketing language, and ethical positioning are made in good faith and based on information we reasonably believe to be accurate when published.
This includes statements relating to:
- cruelty-free status
- vegan status
- ingredients or materials
- sourcing practices
- ethical standards
- product quality or characteristics
Our statements are intended to describe our products and practices as accurately as reasonably possible. They are not intended to overstate certifications, approvals, guarantees, or legal conclusions.
6. No Unstated Certification Claims
Unless expressly stated, URBALENTI™ does not claim or imply that its products, suppliers, or operations are certified, endorsed, or verified by any third-party cruelty-free, vegan, ethical sourcing, labor, or sustainability organization.
References to ethical standards or responsible practices reflect URBALENTI™’s internal values and business approach, not third-party certification.
7. Supplier and Product Information
URBALENTI™ relies in part on information provided by suppliers, manufacturers, and other business partners. While we aim to maintain accurate and current product information, some statements may be updated from time to time to reflect revised sourcing data, reformulations, operational changes, or legal developments.
8. Scope of Statements
Unless specifically stated otherwise, ethics-related and product-related claims apply only to the specific product, collection, or statement in which they appear.
General brand language should not be interpreted as a representation that every product or every supplier relationship meets a single identical standard in all respects.
